Purchase of Nutrition-Toolbox for the Pocket PC so students will be given the opportunity to complete at least one adult nutrition assessment case study utilizing this software. After completing this project, students will have a working knowledge of a popular software product, which in turn will acquaint them with PDA technology and software in general.

RoboDemo 5 will be purchased to design online-tutorials for a number of chemical programs including ChemWindows (a chemical drawing program) and Spartan (a computer-aided chemistry modeling program). Students will learn the software packages at their own pace, and they will be required to complete a number of assignments using these programs. Tutorials will be created using Robodemo for use in a number of courses.

RoboDemo will be purchased to create interactive learning objects for linguistics. One demo will include drag-and-drop procedures for each type of analytical exercise in the course, along with instructions for accessing, completing and submitting the exercises in Blackboard. Drag-drop exercises will be created for skill development in phonetics, phonology, morphology and syntax. A third demo will show the relationship between the maturation of language-related areas of the brain and language acquisition.
