Distance learning courses are delivered through a variety of Web-based platforms with the flexibility to meet your individual learning needs.
Blackboard: Web-based courses. These courses are mainly asynchronous and can be accessed at any time using a computer connected to the Internet. Students can participate in discussion forums, submit assignments, take tests and quizzes online, access grades, and download course documents.
Elluminate: Elluminate Live! Academic Edition is a Web-based synchronous, collaborative learning environment with real-time, interactive functionality integrated into Blackboard (in the Communications area): carry on a conversation with your instructor and other students via two-way audio and video in an interactive learning environment using whiteboarding and image markup, text messaging, application sharing, and guided Web site viewing. Sessions can be recorded and archived for on-demand playback in Blackboard.
