Custom Instruction
Overview
CIT strives to provide support to faculty and staff to enhance their instruction by learning and integrating instructional technologies appropriately into their curriculum. While regularly scheduled workshops and events take into consideration the schedules and needs of our faculty, schedules do not always permit everyone to take advantage of the events. To further reach out to faculty and staff, CIT offers several services to provide custom and one-on-one support for individuals and groups outside of our normal event schedule.
House Calls & Consultation
A CIT staff member will meet with faculty or staff individually in the comfort of their own office or in one of the CIT office locations. Faculty and staff can use this time to further develop technology skills as well as assistance developing instructional materials utilizing technology. Custom Instruction
The CIT will facilitate customized instructional events for departments and other groups on campus upon request. Topics may include those found in our list of regularly scheduled offerings or, if possible, those specific to the needs of the group. Dates, times and locations can be arranged for the convenience of the group. Upon faculty request, the CIT will also facilitate instruction for student groups.
