the Faculty Summer Institute:
Now beginning its eighth year, the CIT Faculty
Summer Institute assists faculty want to develop
and teach online courses. Conducted by the Center
for Instructional Technology (CIT) in partnership with Media Resources,
JMU Libraries, and affiliated JMU faculty, the Summer Institute is a
week-long series of interactive workshops, technology skills sessions,
hands-on project work, group discussions, and mentoring sessions with online
faculty and culminates in the development of an online course that will be
taught during the 2010 summer sessions.
