Images & Documents
CIT Media Services can provide assistance, with scanning images, creating PDF files, creating original graphics for web or presentations, Google Docs, MS Office, and more.
The CIT has two locations: Carrier Library, ground floor and East Campus Library, 5th floor.

Equipment:
Sheet scanner, large format document scanner, slide and film scanner, and CD/DVD duplicator and printer (there is a small fee for printing CDs and blank printable disks are also available in the CIT for purchase by JMU departments). Video production hardware and software is also available.
Software:
Adobe Acrobat CS4, Photoshop Elements 7, Photoshop CS4, Illustrator CS4, InDesign CS4, Premiere Elements, iMovie 09, iDVD, Dreamweaver, and more. Video production hardware and software is also available.
Assistance:
Trained CIT staff can assist faculty in the use of this software in the CIT Walk-In labs and at other locations via a CIT House Call [insert link to House Call]. Assistance is also provided via instant messaging and telephone.

Who Can Use the CIT?
CIT Walk-In areas, studios, and edit suites are for faculty/staff/GAs use only. If you have hired an undergraduate student to do some of the work for you in preparation to teach a class, they may also be able to use the CIT walk-in areas if the faculty member completes the request for Student Use Form.
